1-الطفل أول ما يبدأ يتعرف البيئه المحيطه حوله يجب أن يراها بهذا الترتيب (حقيقي - مجسم - مجرد) و يبدأ أن يرى الأشياء أو الحيوانات في صورتها الحقيقة وبعدها نبدأ أن نقدم المجسمات وبعدها الكتب والصور و يتم مطابقة الصور الموجودة في الكتاب مع المجسمات (يجب ان تكون الصور حقيقية و غير كرتونية أو مرسومة) و هذاخطأ شائع للأسف.
2- الخلفية يجب أن تكون بيضاء لمنع الطفل من تشتت الإنتباه.
3- وجود كلمة واحدة فقط سواء لغة عربية أو لغة إنجليزية و لا يجب الجمع بين لغتين في أول تعليم الطفل لأن الطفل يربط بين الصورة والكلمة المطبوعة.
4- الكتاب 12 صورة حقيقة واضحة.
5- مقاس الصفحه الواحده 15*15 سم مناسب لرؤية الطفل وليده عندما يمسك الكتب بعد أشهر.
